This wine praises the denomination DOC Collio del Friuli, one of the best and most famous areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is produced with 100% Chardonnay, cultivated in vinayards located around the estate and south-oriented, with soils mainly composed by marls. After the manual harvest, tha grapes are places in the pneumatic press machinery. The must is then poured in oak barrels that contain between 225-500 liters. Then, the must is assembled in steel, where it ages for one year and ends the process with a furter year of maturation in the bottle. A great classical of the regional viticulture, “Chardonnay Gràfin De La Tour” is the result of the harvest from a unique vineyard, located next to the winey. The perfect maturation of the grapes is central for the complexity of the wine. It is vinified in steel and aged in barrique for 8 months. This white is soft, fruity, enchanting and persitent. It can surprise for its longevity.
