Le Marchesine

When in Italy we talk about the production of sparkling wines, and more specifically of Classic Method, it is not possible not to immediately think about Franciacorta and its long tradition. In the province of Brescia are in fact produced "bubbles" capable of competing with the best Spanish Cava, as well as with some of the largest and most famous French Champagnes. A history, that of this beautiful territory of Brescia, which began with the first experiments of Berlucchi dating back to the middle of the last century, and which continues with the recognition of the DOC in 1967 and the DOCG in 1995. It is in this context that "Le Marchesine" was born in 1985. Since then there has been a lot of road, but the care and attention with which the Biatta family continues the work, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, are always the same. Born as a small and innovative company, the company is currently one of the most prestigious of all Franciacorta, and the initial three hectares of vineyards have over time extended, to the point that today the surface of the vineyards reaches almost fifty hectares in total. Among the rows, the vines are raised in Guyot, and the grapes grow in full respect of the environment, nature and ecosystem. In the cellar, every production phase is meticulously and scrupulously followed, and the most modern wine making technologies are used. With an annual production of 450,000 bottles, those that bear the name "Le Marchesine" are simply excellent Franciacorta. From Brut to Rosé, from Satèn to Millesimati, from Blanc de Blancs to Blanc de Noir, up to the Curtefranca appellation stops, are wines, those produced by the Passirano winery, of absolute excellence and great personality: sparkling wines that stand out for their elegance, all characterized by a great relationship between expenditure and subsequent satisfaction.
