Colterenzio Winery

The Colterenzio winery is one of the youngest wineries in South Tyrol, able to offer a wide range of exceptional products: red, white and rosé that today you can buy in our store at a competitive price. The wine proposals are realized thanks to the work of a cooperative that has about 300 members in the homonymous area of the winery, but also in Cornaiano, Appiano, in the area of Bolzano, Salorno and on the border with Trentino. In this vast area there are several varieties of vineyards that have found an ideal habitat for the ripening of the grapes, from the bunches of Cabernet with Pinot Grigio berries processed to make the prestigious whites offered by Colterenzio winery. The grapes selected by the company benefit from ideal growing conditions, being between 230 and 650 meters high in a climate where the heat of daylight hours alternates with the freshness of night. A perfect context that allows the grapes to reach high standards and the Colterenzio winery to obtain excellent results on sale among the South Tyrolean wines of the store.

Colterenzio Wine Types

The proposals selected in our online wine shop fully reflect the soul of their region of origin, being the result of an interesting fusion between the German-speaking and the Italian-speaking world. An example are the bottles of the winery Colterenzio present among the Gewurztraminer wines, born from the processing of indigenous grapes, although the nomenclature refers to a matrix of German mold: these whites characterized by a golden yellow and floral scents are one of the company’s flagship products, capable of revealing to the palate with an elegant and curiously spicy flavor. Do not miss also the red wines, starting from those made from international grapes such as Pinot Noir, or more traditionally linked to the territory, such as Lagrein, both characterized by aromatic notes of red fruits. For those who like to venture into new experiments is inevitable the proposal of Pfefferer, a variety of yellow muscat vinified alone, characterized by herbaceous notes and a fresh and pleasantly enveloping taste.
