A Champagne of great prestige and complexity. It is produced by the technical winemakers of Lallier with 44% Chardonnay grapes and 56% Pinot Noir. Since 1906, Lallier is a production of prestigious Champagne wines. The R series comes from a reflection around a year of Harvest. It offers a wide range of aromas attractive for their naturalness and generosity, an ideal companion to all moments of "good tasting" and culinary occasions of extreme prestige. Climate change would have an impact on the year 2013 marked by an atypical late cycle and a harvest in October. Two very contrasting periods for wine champagne. First of all a cold winter (but without frosts) and a very cold spring with grisaille, large rainfall and floods. Then, change of face from July. A sun radiating throughout the summer with an insolation that beats records despite the repeated passages of hail storms with devastating consequences 5 times less than in 2000. In September, the end of the cycle is more autumn with the return of rains. Ultimately, the feature of 2013 is the "cold" with late flowering in early July (as in 1991), which caused a phenological delay of at least 3 weeks and the harvest in early October, although the summer heat has accelerated the cycle with only 91 days between full flower and vintage. The grapes of excellent quality, ripe and healthy, comfort us and wish us a good year. Vinification with alcoholic fermentation in LALLIER yeast, followed by partial malolactic fermentation of the blend.

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Champagne
Great for the aperitif accompanied by small and tasty salty morsels with herbal sauces and boiled vegetables and cooked on the grill. At the table, it goes well with most savory dishes, such as a creamy sauce with seafood, a guinea fowl with tasty sheep cheese. To enrich the end of the meal can also be combined with desserts made with white and yellow fruits. It should be served fresh at 8 ºC in a tall and tapered glass.
