This wine is the most representative of the Veneto and Verona tradition. This Amarone of the Tommasi Winery comes from the “MONTE MASUA” vineyard with a wonderful position ideal to produce quality wines. The cultivation method is the traditional “pergola veronese” system. It is made by a blend of Corvina Veronese 70%, Rondinella 25%, and Molinara 5% grapes. The grapes wither in the drying-fruits room for 5 months and 3 years in Slavonia oak barrels of 35 hectolitres. The “Il Sestante” estate, property of the Tommasi winery, has 15 hectares of Vineyards in the Masua Mount, in the core of the Valpolicella Classica area, quite close to the Garda lake.
