The icon wine of the Santi winery is produced only in the best vintages. It is a “modern” Amarone, elegant and sober, to be forgotten in the cellar, as it defies time, anticipates and summarizes the future: here is the Proemio. The vines used for its vinification are those of Corvina for 50%, of Corvinone for 30%, and of Rondinella for 20%. The origin of the grapes for the production of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG "Proemio" is linked to vineyards located in the municipalities of San Pietro in Cariano, Marano and Fumane, near Verona. This wine is produced with grapes harvested exclusively by hand, refines in barriques for about 24 months and then for a further 12 months in the bottle before being marketed. Generous and of infinite elegance, it is a wine absolutely to try.

A very deep and austere ruby red color. The bouquet on the nose opens with an intense and complex bouquet; there are notes of cherry and plum, hints of vanilla and cinnamon. The taste on the palate is full, with an elegant spicy background. Balanced and persistent for a long time.
