The sparkling wine Private Couvée is a refined blend of Gleran, Chardonnay Moscato and other local varieties. The Cuvee was made to be matched with the appetizer or to be tasted all along the meal because it expresses all the scents of a sparkling wine together with the softness of the moscato and the aromas of the Chardonnay which reminds the acacia flowers. For this wine the grapes are selected to create a wine rich of personality and character. All the vines are cultivated at the feet of the mountains in Veneto. The manual grape harvest takes place in September.
Characteristics of the Zardetto sparkling wine
The renowned Private Cuvée has a straw yellow color rich of green reflections. The smell is fresh and delicate with floral aromas of the Chardonnay and the fruity ones of the Moscato. The taste on the palate is dry, delicate and fragrant with a good acidity. It is appreciated the very fine brioche aroma.
Suggested pairings with the Private Cuvée
The Private Cuvée of Zardetto has to be matched with the Friuli and Venetian cooking: perfect with light risotto, vegetables and not very aged cheeses. It has to be served in high and tapered wine glasses at 9°C if joined to food or 7°C in flûte if served as appetizer.
