The Franciacorta Satèn was born in the vineyards of the Tenuta La Montina located between Lake Iseo and the morainic amphitheater of Franciacorta, in the province of Brescia. It is produced entirely with Chardonnay grapes, harvested and carefully selected by hand. After fermentation in barriques that gives the wine elegance and finesse, the fermentation takes place by refermentation in bottle according to the Classic Method, with aging on its lees. The vinification sees the plant of 100% Chardonnay grapes as well. The wine is then aged in the bottle for at least 30 months during which the sparkling wine remains on the lees, aging.
Characteristics of Franciacorta Brut Saten by La Montina winery
To the appearance that emerges from the organoleptic examination this sparkling wine from Lombardy has a straw yellow color. The nose opens with scents of tropical fruit, acacia and lime, enriched with notes of vanilla resulting from the passage in barriques. The taste on the palate is pleasantly velvety and fresh.
