The Champagne "007" of Bollinger has a long story to tell. It born from the meeting in 1978 between Mr. Albert R. Cubby Broccoli one of the producer of the James Bond saga and Christian Bizot the General manager of the Bollinger winery at that time. It born a great friendship: a normal consequences for those men who share the excellence, the character and the elegance. From that moment the Champagne Bollinger becomes the James Bond Champagne the key element for the seduction of a woman and symbol of the detail of the “British” spirit. The bottle is offered with a special box in metal which is able to maintain the freshness of the Champagne for at least 2 hours.
Characteristics of this Champagne Bollinger "007"
The sensations are the one of an exceptional champagne. It has a gold color, classic and enriched by amber reflections given by the long aging. The smell has remarkable ripen fruits aromas such as quince and honey. There are also some warmer aromas such as the toasted dry fruit, the cacao, the star anise and the nutmeg. The taste is rich, powerful, and well balanced with persistent aromas. It is rightly mineral and lightly sapid very pleasant and easy to drink.
